Wagah Border

Jallianwala Bagh

Jallianwala Bagh, located near Amritsar's famed Golden Temple, is a public area that also includes a memorial to memorialize the slaughter of peaceful celebrators by British soldiers. Jallianwala Bagh, spread across 6.5 acres of ground, is connected with one of the saddest days in Indian history when hundreds of innocent people were massacred on the orders of General Dyer as they gathered for a peaceful Baisakhi festival. The site has now been transformed into a lovely park, which is administered by the Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Trust. This place is definitely a place to visit.
