Important Information

Please note that all flights to and from New Zealand connect through Australia. The Australian immigration authorities require citizens of some countries to have a transit visa when connecting through Australia. Check if you need an Australian transit visa and obtain it before departure. For connections that have an overnight stay in Australia, you`ll be required to exit the airport overnight and collect your baggage.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Kindly review the following terms and conditions carefully. You must read, understand, and agree to all the terms before making a booking. These terms apply to bookings made with our Travel Consultants (in-branch, over the phone, or by email) or online through the FlightsHub website.

Passport & Visa

Ensure your passport has at least 6 months of validity from the date of your return and that the name provided for your reservation matches exactly with your passport. Amendment fees apply to name changes and may incur cancellation and re-booking fees. We assume all travelers have a valid passport for international bookings. Verify visa conditions and passport status before flying, even during transit. Any fines or expenses due to document issues will be your responsibility. We do not provide visa information.

Reconfirmation

We recommend confirming your flight with the local airline office at least 72 hours before departure. Failure to reconfirm may result in reservation cancellations. Special requests (e.g., hotel confirmation, meal preferences, seat preferences, special assistance, wheelchair requests) require confirmation from the agency at least 72 hours prior to departure.

Airline Fares & Bookings

Airfares are subject to change, withdrawal, or alteration by airlines without notice until final ticketing. FlightsHub is not liable for cancellations or bankruptcy by third-party providers, including airlines. We are also not responsible for baggage damage, loss, or inflight services. These issues must be addressed directly with the airlines.

Frequent Flyer Program

A frequent flyer program (FFP) is a loyalty program offered by airlines. Points may be based on fare class, distance flown, or amount paid. FlightsHub will add your membership number to the booking if provided, but is not responsible for Frequent Flyer redemption or credits. These matters must be addressed directly with the airlines.

Baggage Information

Verify baggage allowances for your fare before ticket confirmation, as these vary by airline and sector.

General Rules of Baggage Allowance:

  • International (New Zealand to Asia/Europe/Africa/Middle East): 30 kg
  • International (New Zealand to USA/Canada): 23 kg for 1 piece or 2 pieces
  • International (New Zealand to Australia): 0 kg. Domestic within Australia: 0 kg
  • Additional baggage charges apply.
  • Infants are allowed only 10 kg for international long-haul trips and no baggage for short-haul flights.
  • Some airlines allow 30 kg. Confirm with your travel consultant before booking.
  • Baggage piece limits vary by airline.

Changes To Your Flight Times

It is your responsibility to contact the airline before departure to check for any schedule changes. We may not be aware of changes but are not liable for costs incurred if you do not make contact.

Hotel Accommodation From Airline

STPC/Free hotel accommodation (if applicable in fare rules) is subject to confirmation.FlightsHub is not responsible for non-confirmation of hotel accommodation for long transit hours. Verify your flight timings, layover time, and visa conditions for the transit country.

Taxes

Certain taxes are mandatory and may include additional local taxes at some airports. All taxes are subject to change without notice. Airline taxes will be confirmed when your ticket is issued.

Travel Advice

You are responsible for holding all valid travel documents (passports, visas, etc.) and complying with the entry, exit, and transit requirements of the countries you visit.
You may be refused entry if you lack the required documents. FlightsHub and our staff are not liable for consequences resulting from inadequate travel documents. Check with the respective embassy or consulate of each country you plan to visit. Ensure your passport has at least 6 months of validity from your return date and matches the name provided for your reservation. Amendment fees apply to name changes. Be aware of any health requirements for your destinations and carry the necessary vaccination documentation.

Travelling To the USA

Entry requirements for the USA: ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization): The U.S. Government requires travelers not holding U.S. or Canadian citizenship to apply for ESTA or a visa. If eligible, apply for ESTA at least 72 hours before departure. Without ESTA or a visa, you cannot board your flight. Visit the USA ESTA website for more information.

Credit Card Fees

Credit card surcharges apply. If you pay by credit card, you agree not to seek a refund of credit card surcharges from FlightsHub.

  • MasterCard and Visa: Starting from 2.8%
  • Premium credit cards: 2% (varies based on interest-free options such as Gem Card, Q Card, Coles Card, etc.)
  • American Express: Starting from 3%

Schedule change

FlightsHub is not liable for schedule changes or cancellations by airlines. For schedule changes (international and domestic), an admin fee of NZD 100 per person will apply, in addition to any airline cancellation fees. *If the airline gives us waiver for refund or changes
Date change amounts are non-refundable if a change was made previously. Contact the airline or FlightsHub before departure to confirm schedule changes. For last-minute changes, request a new schedule at the airport counter.


Reissue Fee

If a ticket requires changes (e.g., date), a reissue fee of NZD 110.00 per change plus a consolidator fee of NZD 45.00 will apply. Additional fees may be charged by airlines if travel has commenced.FlightsHub fees and supplier charges may increase up to NZD 300 depending on ticket complexity.

Cancellation Fee

Cancellations are governed by airline terms. After confirmation, any cancellation incurs a minimum fee of NZD 200.00 per person, plus a consolidator fee of NZD 45 and any airline cancellation fees. The cancellation fee may vary based on airline policies, processing time, and effort. Infant tickets are non-refundable. Domestic tickets and low-cost carrier tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable. If cancellation results from an airline schedule change, a cancellation fee of NZD 75.00 per person plus airline fees applies.Fees may increase up to NZD 300 depending on ticket complexity.

Refund

Refund requests are subject to airline terms and conditions. Many fares are non-refundable. Where applicable, refunds may take up to 12 weeks. The FlightsHub is not liable for delays beyond our control. Refunds will be issued only after receipt from the supplier or airline.

Acknowledgement

By acknowledging, you confirm you are 18 years of age or older and agree to the Booking Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

New Zealand laws govern any disputes. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts and waive any objections to actions being brought there.

Declaration

I, or on behalf of the traveler, agree that the dates and times are correct. My name and/or the travelers’ names match those on the passport. I am aware of all fare rules and conditions and will reconfirm flights 72 hours prior to departure.
